Brain Awareness Week is a global initiative to increase public interest and backing for brain science.
Each March, communities worldwide celebrate Brain Awareness Week by organizing innovative activities that showcase the fascinating complexities of the brain and the significant role brain science plays in our lives, all in an effort to cultivate public excitement and support.
This year, exploring the fascinating relationship between the brain and feelings was our focus. To make learning engaging and memorable, we combined several activities: we decorated cookies to visually represent brain regions linked to emotions, played a fun lotto game to reinforce key concepts, and enjoyed a unique presentation that illuminated the intricate connection between feelings and brain activity.
The event was sponsored by the Dana Foundation and IBRO.
