Fauzi Jomaa

Fauzi holds dual B.Sc. degrees in Biomedical Engineering and Medical Sciences from the Technion, where he specialized in imaging, medical signal processing, and tissue engineering. During his undergraduate studies, he conducted fetal EEG analyses, built machine learning models, and explored parent–child brain-to-brain synchronization during reading sessions.

Alongside his current role as an Application Engineer in Philips, Fauzi is pursuing an M.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering. His graduate research centers on investigating reading fluency in children using AVI (Audiovisual Integration). By leveraging functional MRI and advanced computational techniques, Fauzi aims to illuminate the neural mechanisms that contribute to reading challenges and develop targeted interventions to enhance educational and clinical outcomes.
