Dikla Harel Koren

Dikla Harel Koren holds a bachelor’s degree in Criminology and Sociology from Bar-Ilan University and a master’s degree in Learning Disabilities from the University of Haifa. She serves as a lecturer and pedagogical instructor in Special Education at Oranim College and as a lecturer in Early Childhood Education at Beit Berl College. Additionally, she has been working for over 15 years as an instructor at the Special Education Support Center within the regular education system of the Ministry of Education. Dikla is currently a PhD student at the Faculty of Education in Science and Technology at the Technion.

Her research includes two main studies: the first examines the impact of dialogic reading on reading fluency and executive functions among first-grade Hebrew-speaking children. The second study investigates how reading accelerators influence reading fluency among adolescents. Both studies incorporate behavioral and neurobiological measurements using EEG.
